Common questions
What people ask first.
What is Nomi?
An iPhone app for counting calories: you photograph your food, the app recognises it and logs the calories and macros for you. The recipes on this page are the very catalogue that ships inside it.
Do the recipes cost anything?
No. All 60 are here in full — ingredients, method and nutrition — with no account and without the app.
Where do the nutrition figures come from?
From the same file the app reads. There is no second copy of the recipes that could drift apart. Every figure is per serving.
Why do some recipes show an emoji instead of a photo?
Because half the catalogue has not been shot yet. A stock photo of something else would be a lie — the app shows the same emoji in the same place.
Is the app out yet?
It is still in testing. As soon as it is on the App Store, the link will be at the top of this page.
